Hi, my name is Marie and I live in Alaska. I've been doing miniatures for about 17 years now and am so glad to have yet another place to share this wonderful hobby with others of like mind. I am married with three cats, and enjoy working in 1:12 scale.

Hello Marie. I live about as far away from you as you can get; Tasmania, Australia. I've only been doing miniatures for about ten years, am not married and only have two cats. I too usually work in 1:12 scale, although I'm seriously considering trying something in 1:24 when I finish my current projects. Just thought I would post a hello. I am Heidi from NYC. Purchased my first dollhouse a week ago and himself is busy painting and gluing away. I woke up this morning dreaming about little dollhouse scenes so I fear I am in pretty deep. My concern is we purchased a 1/2 scale house; because we don't have a large flat and I am having a hard time finding the right pieces and or scale for paper and carpeting. I don't know if it matters or not. Since I am still very new at the game I am open to all advice and friendly suggestions. Thanks, H

Hello! I'm Denise, upstate New York. I got my Cherrydale in 2001 and it's become a wonderful hobby for me. Every time I think there's nothing else I could add to my doll house, I find something! I just finished changing the front garden, adding new evergreen shrubs I found in the latest catalogue. I also recently got a gazebo kit for my doll house (since I got a real gazebo for my gardens for Christmas!) and I am working on the landscaping. Just waiting for my latest order to arrive :-)
